"YOU ARE NOT YOUR SIN!"
I WANT TO MAKE THIS DECLARATION TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE DAILY STRUGGLE FOR RIGHTEOUS LIVING THAT, "YOU ARE NOT YOUR SIN! YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU DID!" (Rom. 6:3-7),
Failure is not final...our lack of success or shortcomings do not define us. There is a prevailing Spirit in the earth realm that will convict us, chastise us, correct us and then reconcile us back to the Father. The only condition is that we must "yield" to that Spirit.
We must pursue the opportunities to speak life into one another and then ask yourself, "Am I living the life that Christ died for? (John 10:10)
What you believe or believe "in" will manifest life or death in your life. I am NOT talking about any "name it and claim it" cheap magic tricks, I am speaking directly to the point that we must invest our time and energy into digging through God's Word for TRUTH...DAILY!
God will not violate our will (this is the calamity of "free will"); He will allow you to prosper or self-destruct. Our saving grace, as we spiral out of control immersed in sin, is that the "spirit of recognition" might kick in and we "come back to ourselves", repent and get back on the pathway to truth. Life or death is a daily choice.
Ineffective praise (I'm not talking about singing songs, shouting in church or running up and down the aisles) leads to ineffective worship which results in ineffective fellowship with the Lord God. How can you understand or HEAR GOD if YOU DON'T KNOW HIM?
God will humble us. God will test you so that YOU can know what is in your heart. Wherever you are in your personal situation, you must know that the Lord God has led you there. (Matt. 4:1-2). My death in Christ makes me righteous (Col. 3).
The unction we feel to live righteously is the "TRUTH" that God has revealed to us through the power and authority of the Holy Spirit...Selah.
